Each event varies slightly in terms of accepted materials and residency requirements, so we recommend checking with the host municipality or visiting our Recycling Events page for details. Most events are first-come, first-served, and all participants should remain in their vehicles during drop-off. Our team will handle the heavy lifting—just pop your trunk, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Why These Events Matter
Recycling electronics and appliances isn’t just about clearing out old clutter—it’s about protecting the environment and preventing harm. Many electronic devices contain materials such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, which can leach into the soil and groundwater if not disposed of properly. By participating in one of our events, you’re actively reducing environmental pollution and contributing to a circular economy where materials are reused and repurposed instead of discarded.
Our events also offer secure document destruction, a valuable service for residents and businesses concerned about identity theft or confidential information exposure. We provide on-site shredding when available, or sealed transport to certified shredding facilities, giving peace of mind to those who need to safely dispose of personal files.
The Convenience of Local Recycling Events
We understand that not everyone has time to drive to distant recycling facilities or schedule individual pickups. That’s why our local events are designed to be convenient, fast, and accessible. Many are held during evenings or weekends to accommodate busy schedules, and locations are selected based on accessibility and parking availability.
Our team handles the unloading, sorting, and packaging of your materials, so all you have to do is show up. Plus, the majority of our events are free to attend or charge only small fees for select items like CRT monitors or old TVs.
For many attendees, these events become part of their annual routine—an easy, responsible way to stay on top of home and office clean-outs without the stress of improper disposal.
